How to promote an authentic, unfiltered training collection? Simpol. the reactive agency collaborated with Kappa to create a set of visual content enhancing the new FW24 collection for store, social and OOH advertising campaigns. Discover how we captured the essence of training in every shot!
The main task was to make the true essence of training visible, representing not only the physical activity, but also the moments of rest and connection between the athletes. We had to avoid artificial and inauthentic images, focusing on content that would make the target audience empathise.
Our response to the challenge was to design a dynamic and immersive shoot, focusing on natural shots and the interaction of the influencers with the camera. Each piece of content was designed to reflect Kappa's visual style, with a distinctive, authentic and sports community-oriented tone of voice.
The project took shape with a thorough research of photo and video references, which allowed us to define a visual aesthetic in line with the brand's mission.
We studied in detail the 5 influencers involved, matching each of them with exercises that corresponded to their daily workout routines, so that each piece of content would be natural and coherent. A well-scheduled production plan, with precise timetables, ensured that all phases, from shooting sessions to resting areas, were handled efficiently.
During the shoot, our team took 20 photos and 3 short videos, capturing authentic moments during both training sessions and resting times.
We adopted techniques such as long takes and the use of flash to emphasise the dynamism and energy of the workouts. On the video front, we focused on smooth transitions, split screens and ASMR sounds to amplify the authentic atmosphere of the workout. The international influencers involved played a crucial role in carrying the brand message, with Sara Cardillo, Filippo Tenca, Claudio Sona and others helping to give the campaign an authentic and recognisable face.
The content created was optimised for different channels: from physical points of sale to the brand's and influencers' social platforms and OOH advertising campaigns. The 20 photos and 3 videos were adapted in 9:16 and 16:9 formats for flexible and targeted distribution.
The end result was a campaign that powerfully expressed the essence of Kappa's collection, connecting the brand to its community of training enthusiasts in an authentic and engaging way.
