How to attract a user's attention from the very first seconds?
To make ADV videos appealing to the target audience, we created commercials rich in VFX and disruptive elements. In software engineering, rubber duck debugging is referred to as a debugging practice that consists of explaining, line by line, the operation of a program to a rubber duck.
In fact, the idea is that, by describing in detail the expected operation of the program and at the same time observing what the code actually does, any inconsistencies may surface.
So why not take advantage of this beautiful and bizarre practice as a concept and common thread for the 4 commercials?
The commercials are aimed at the brand's target and at new potential customers. For this reason, the 30-second main spot is intended to present the Boolean world with the objective of conversion leads, while the 15-second commercials are intended to show off certain advantages of the course.
For the creation of the 30-second main video and the 3 15-second videos, we used 3D elements and wow effects to give an innovative and ironic tone to the video, capturing the viewer's attention from the first seconds, a fundamental element for an adv commercial to be valid and functional.
The four videos were produced in a single day of shooting. All this was possible thanks to the great pre-production work carried out, including: study of the scenography, props research and set-up in full, outfit choice and actor scouting, storyboarding, writing voice overs and filming and vfx tests carried out in the previous days, in short, nothing was left to chance!
